Preparing a watch-only export for a planning session
What to bring to a UTXO consolidation planning meeting without ever sharing a seed phrase.
We never ask for seed phrases. A planning session needs a watch-only descriptor, an xpub with clear derivation notes, or a spreadsheet listing txid, vout, amount, and address type. Redact labels that reveal counterparties if that matters to you; amounts and outpoints are enough to order a consolidation.
Before the call, note your hardware model and whether change addresses follow a pattern you already understand. Mention upcoming spends so the plan can leave a suitable coin untouched.
If your software cannot export cleanly, photograph the UTXO list on a secondary screen and type amounts into a sheet. Messy inputs slow the session; they do not require handing over keys.
