Maintenance Cycle
How Network Connect Digital sequences audits, consolidation plans, and follow-up reviews for cold wallets.
A calm rhythm for offline wallets
Consolidation is not a weekly chore. It is a maintenance window you open when clutter or an upcoming spend justifies the on-chain cost. Network Connect Digital frames that window in four stages.
1. Inventory
Start with a Cold Wallet UTXO Audit if you are unsure whether the set is messy enough to act. The memo tells you whether to wait or proceed.
2. Plan
When action is warranted, book UTXO Consolidation Planning. You receive a numbered order, fee-band guidance, and notes on coins to leave alone.
3. Execute on your device
You sign and broadcast yourself when the fee market matches the plan. We stay available for clarifications but never take custody.
4. Review later
New receives rebuild the set. A Periodic Maintenance Review decides if another sweep is due, often once or twice a year.
When to open a window
- You need to fund a large payment and want fewer coin-selection surprises
- Dust and change fragments dominate the wallet view
- Fee markets have been quieter than usual and you already have an audit on file
